Dried distillers grain with Soluble (DDGS) is the main co-product created from the distillation of alcohol from corn. The corn is ground into a meal and run through a fermentation and distillation process to create and isolate the alcohol. After the alcohol is removed, the remaining corn matrix is run through an evaporation, centrifuge, and drying process creating a dry feed with concentrated protein and fat levels.
