Attn: CVEC Corn Suppliers
CVEC was recently issued an Air Permit renewal by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA). Written into the permit is a restriction that limits our daily unload of corn delivered via end-dump trailers to 2,500 bushels. According to the MPCA, this restriction is due to additional dust emissions by end-dump trailers versus hopper-bottom trailers. We realize this is ridiculous and apologize for the inconvenience that this will cause several of our corn customers. We are working towards a solution, but in order to stay in compliance with MN state regulations we will be forced to monitor and adhere to this limit in the interim.

CVEC will not accept GMO’s that have not been approved for use by the US and its trading partners, which includes, but is not limited to, the European Union, Japan, and China. Any Corn over 16.5% moisture is subject to possible rejection.
